No javascript or jQuery, just HTML and CSS to produce an auto/manual slideshow with play/pause function.

The slideshow will auto run on entry and have a wrap around action so that the first slide will scroll in from the right when at the last slide.

Click/tap any of the thumbnail images to select that slide. The slideshow will then continue from that selection.

Pause the slideshow using the play/pause icon at the top left of the slideshow.

When paused you can select any slide using the thumbnail images.

Click/tap the play/pause icon to switch back to auto run from the current slide selection.

The thumbnail images are all CSS restyled radio inputs with the thumbnails as background images using filters to switch between color, grayscale and black/white.
